Welcome to Gifted Island
This blog is an on-line extension of the Gifted ShairFair group of Alabama gifted educators in the east central area of the state. This group meets annually to share units, ideas, books, and other resources, as well as discuss current issues and challenges. Because of the nature of our work, most teachers of gifted are isolated from their peers and find themselves alone on this "Gifted Island." Teachers, this is your place of refuge and revitalization...a digital oasis to learn and share.
